Kendall Hopwood
A San Diego native who currently resides in Seattle, my appetite for literature, language and traveling is a constant catalyst for exploring the world from different vantage points. Whether traversing the globe literally or through the portal of language, I’m an avid admirer of words.
I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a BA in English and minor in Psychology from San Diego State University, and spent a term studying Shakespeare at New College, Oxford. While teaching High School English, I also earned my MA in Literature from the University of California, Irvine. My thesis is a phenomenological analysis of Virginia Woolf’s The Waves.
Taking a detour from teaching, I currently work for a creative resources company in Seattle where I find ample time to imagine, read, write, take yoga classes and explore the Pacific Northwest and beyond.
